15. Confetti Linen Musk Spa Bar - rebatch of no 9. 15/3/26
Recipe Instructions
So, no 9 cured perfectly but there was no scent or colour so I decided to jazz it up. I did add some jasmine oil but it just didn't last.
I generally don't use fragrance oils but had some in the cupboard and decided to try out some White Musk along with Geranium EO and Eucalyptus EO. I grated up the bars and added about 60g of distilled water to the crock pot. It took ages to melt, so I popped it into the microwave for a couple of hot bursts to move it along. I added a teaspoon of sodium lactate, and because I had a few leftover bars of pink and purple soap, I chopped them up and added them to it before 'pouring'. It wasn't really a pour, it was more like a squash as it was mashed potato texture, it never got to pour consistency - I didn't add enough water, didn't want it to take forever to cure. This is the breakdown of oils added;
- 17g white musk FO
- 5g geranium EO
- 4g eucalyptus EO
