Recipe Instructions

Hot process

I made double my normal size, approximately 2 kg. However, it was too much for my crock pot and made it difficult to stir without making a mess. So I took the plunge and poured half into the mould at the custard stage before it became mashed potatoes, so it's almost cooked but not quite. I'll wait 48 hours before slicing and give it a few weeks to process properly (December 28th 2025 onwards). The bonus part is that I purposely didn't add any colourant or fragrance to the first half, so I can package it as luxury doggie soap with absolutely zero additives and full rich local organic ingredients.

I added a half tsb of green mica and a mixture of peppermint, eucalyptus and sandalwood, in a 3:2:1 ratio (mostly peppermint), poured to mould and will check it tomorrow.

Castile Blend; Olive Oil, Peanut Oil, Pumpkin Seed Oil, Coconut Oil, Beeswax, Rapeseed Oil
