Cold Process Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay, and Matcha Bar Soap
Recipe Instructions
- Pour your pre-measured lye into the water in a safe and well ventilated area. Preferably outdoors away from kids and animals. DO NOT pour water onto the lye; it will have a violent reaction. Make sure to wear safety equipment for this step. Set aside to cool.
- Measure and melt all oils; mix together.
- Once oils and Lye water are cooled to room temp (I use mine at 90°-100°) combine and mix to trace
- This is the point where you’ll use your additives if your using any. Mix in the trace.
- Place in your molds and allow 24-48 hours to set.
- Remove from the molds and set in a cool, dry place to cure for 4-6 weeks.
