Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

22.76 oz Water

9.90 oz 100% Purity NaOH

Oils

22.63 oz Olive Oil - All Grades

23.36 oz Coconut Oil, 76 deg

3.65 oz Castor Seed Oil

23.36 oz Lard

Additives + Additional Ingredients

9.90 ounce Lye

9.90 ounce Water

11.35 ounce Cm poured at emulsion room temp

3.65 ounce Hc added oil room temps

1 pinch T silk

4.50 teaspoon P sugar in water used for lye

1.83 ounce Glycerin

0.44 ounce Cetyl alcohol

0.77 ounce Na lactate

1.45 ounce Avj at room temperature added to cooling lye solution; add when 100 degrees

Recipe Instructions

73 oz/2.3:1/ sf 10%(Took 3 days to unmold— wonder if cream amt should be deducted from total h2o amt)

add N.A. lactate to h20/lye/ t silk when temp decreases to 115 degrees

Set out measured N.A. lactate/ hc/ cm/glycerine/ and cetyl alcohol ; milks out of fridge 15-20 min to come to room temp and not be cold.

order to melt oils: melt hard oils, then soft oils, then ceytl alc.( if cetyl alcohol pellets don’t melt, reheat just enough to melt cetyl alcohol then when under 110 degrees add hc, then add glycerin to oils wait till 105 degrees , (hand stir before adding new oils in)then add lye at 90-95 degrees; mix with stick blender with short bursts until forms an emulsion , then hand blend cm, then add fo , swirl and pour.

no kaolin clay because it can surprises bubbles and make batter thick


soap at oil 105- 110 degrees /lye 90-95

mix hc/cm at room temperature


then hand stir

then hand stir fo at max safe soap load
