Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

517.89 g Water

258.94 g 90% Purity KOH

Oils

650 g Coconut Oil, 76 deg

300 g Olive Oil - All Grades

50 g Castor Seed Oil

Additives + Additional Ingredients

10 gram SODIUM GLYCONATE 1% CHELATOR (add at trace 2nd)

30 gram CITRIC ACID 3% (18g extra lye) (add at trace 1st)

10 gram SUGAR 1

35 gram sodium citrate 3.5%

300 gram glycerine 30%

5 gram grapefruit extract .5

50 gram sodium lactate 5%

Recipe Instructions

add sugar and sodium lactate to lye.
take some water from recipe and make separate citric acid solution, sodium glyconate solution, set aside
note: add citric acid to some water and other chelators at trace. add citric acid first
1.warm oil to 50 degrees and lye solution around same temp
2.stick blend in the crockpot for 15 minutes
3.add citric acid solution and blend well. cover and let it cook for 15 minutes
4.then add sodium glyconate solution and stick blend. let it cook for another 20minutes
5.after 3 stick blend again and do ph test (8-9). cook on low for an hour or more and stir it occasionally
6.after cooking for a while and becomes pasty, do another ph test and clarity test
7.once fully cooked add glycerine to the paste and hand mix well. cook for another 30minutes and mix again. repeat until vaseline consistency
8.turn off heat, cover in glad wrap and let it sit overnight. next day grapefruit extract can be added. mix well and store away
