Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

215.93 g Water

113.65 g 98% Purity NaOH

Oils

200 g Coconut Oil, 76 deg

120 g Olive Oil - All Grades

120 g Rice Bran Oil

80 g Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

80 g Karite Butter (Shea)

40 g Hemp Seed Butter & Oil

80 g Pine Tar

160 g Tallow, Beef

Additives + Additional Ingredients

35 gram Sugar 4% b4 citric acid

35 gram Salt 4% b4 citric acid

17 gram Citric acid b4 lye

125 gram Lye total ( extra incl 4 citric acid)

10 gram Eucalyptus EO

1 teaspoon AC activated charcoal

836 gram Stainless steel pot handle

540 gram Ceramic bowl grey

65 gram Plastic measure 1L

14 gram Red measure cup

9 gram Tall measure cup

7 gram Arbon measure cup

Recipe Instructions

NOTES:

* Oil was 55 degrees and Lye 60 degrees.

1. Add activated charcoal to melted oils.

2. Add lye till emulsion.

3. Add pine tar, no blender, stir only

4. Add fragrance oil right at the end to reduce thick trace onset.


I add ice to water mix to reduce the heat.

I mix sugar and salt b4 citric acid.

Then I mix citric acid b4 lye.

Then I add the lye.

Mix in colour.....

Preheat oven 75 degrees then turn off when place mould in oven.
