Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

236.11 g Water

124.27 g 98% Purity NaOH

Oils

225 g Coconut Oil, 76 deg

90 g Olive Oil - All Grades

180 g Rice Bran Oil

90 g Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

90 g Karite Butter (Shea)

225 g Tallow, Beef

Additives + Additional Ingredients

36 gram Sugar 4% b4 citric acid

36 gram Salt 4% b4 citric acid

18 gram Citric acid b4 lye

136 gram Lye total ( extra incl 4 citric acid)

10 gram Purple haze

1 teaspoon Aquamarine mica

0.50 teaspoon Cornflower blue mica 200g mix

836 gram Stainless steel pot handle

540 gram Ceramic bowl grey

65 gram Plastic measure 1L

14 gram Red measure cup

9 gram Tall measure cup

7 gram Arbon measure cup

592 gram Mold long skinny silicone

Recipe Instructions

NOTES:

* Oil was 55 degrees and Lye 60 degrees.

1. Add activated charcoal to melted oils.

2. Add lye till emulsion.

3. Add pine tar, no blender, stir only

4. Add fragrance oil right at the end to reduce thick trace onset.


I add ice to water mix to reduce the heat.

I mix sugar and salt b4 citric acid.

Then I mix citric acid b4 lye.

Then I add the lye.

Mix in colour.....

Preheat oven 75 degrees then turn off when place mould in oven.
