Needed Ingredients

Water + Lye

17.50 oz Water

6.34 oz 100% Purity NaOH

Oils

9.65 oz Coconut Oil, Virgin

9.65 oz Olive Oil - All Grades

9.65 oz Canola Oil

18.22 oz Mango Butter

2.83 oz Ricinus Oil (Castor Oil)

Additives + Additional Ingredients

5 ounce lemon FO

3 tablespoon aloe gel

1 ounce yellow o r lime color liquid or dissolve mica in rubbing alcohol

1 tablespoon sugar to lye water

1 tablespoon salt to lye water

loofah slices, soaked in olive oil or canola oil, turn

Recipe Instructions

Cut loofah into 1/2"to 1/3" wide pieces. Soap in Castor Oil or a liquid oil, while make the soap. Use flat molds that allow the loofah circle to be in the middle of the square or rectangle. Pour a 1/4-1/2" hot soap in bottom of each mold. Add the loofah, shake out the oil some first. Then add more hot process soap to top. The loofah might stick out a little bit, that's fine. Push the loofah down. Use lemon scented soap with yellow dye swirled in, imperfectly. Chill in the freezer. Unmold after 3 hours.
